A gas explosion involving a big rig injured several firefighters in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles on Thursday morning. At least two firefighters were critically injured and taken to the hospital, while the conditions of others who were injured but not critically are currently unknown. The accident took place in the 1100 block of North Alameda Street near Henry Ford at around 7 a.m. The big rig caught fire, prompting an emergency response from crews.
