DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Police in Bucks County are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of using a stolen credit card to purchase two pairs of Cartier glasses in Doylestown Borough.
According to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, the incident happened on May 27 at Doylestown Family Eye Associates, located at 16 W. State Street.
Police said the man purchased two pairs of Cartier frames totaling nearly $6,000. Investigators said he paid $50 in cash, with the remaining balance charged to a stolen credit card.
The man is described by police as being between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 5-foot-11 to 6 feet tall, and heavy set.
Police said he was wearing green Nike sneakers, a gray sweatsuit, and a dark-colored T-shirt with what appeared to be an image of three birds on a branch.
