UPPER MILFORD TWP., Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police have released additional details about a fatal truck crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in Upper Milford Township.
The driver was identified as Clarence Reynolds, 42, of Camden, New Jersey.
According to state police, Reynolds was driving north on Chestnut Street, also known as Route 29, near Beck Road shortly before 12:30 p.m. when the truck failed to remain within its lane.
The truck traveled off the right side of the roadway before striking a utility pole and a tree along the shoulder. The vehicle then overturned onto its driver’s side.
Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police said no other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.
The roadway was closed for an extended period while emergency crews investigated the scene and cleared the wreckage.
