BETHLEHEM, Pa. — An 80-year-old Bethlehem man has died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in the city, according to Bethlehem police.
Officers were dispatched around 8:15 p.m. to the intersection of Linden Street and Butztown Road for a reported crash involving a pedestrian.
When police arrived, they found the victim lying in the roadway in the southbound lane of Linden Street, just south of the intersection.
Authorities said the man, a city resident, died as a result of the crash. No additional details about the vehicle or driver were immediately released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
