ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Police have arrested an Allentown man accused of stabbing a woman multiple times during what investigators described as a domestic-related incident Monday afternoon.
According to Allentown Police, officers were dispatched around 2:34 p.m. to the 700 block of Saint John Street for a reported stabbing.
When officers arrived, they located a female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was provided emergency medical care at the scene before being transported to an area hospital. Her condition has not yet been released.
Investigators say the incident was domestic in nature. Police confirmed a male suspect was taken into custody following the incident.
Multiple Allentown Police units responded to the neighborhood as detectives began processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
Additional details, including the identity of the suspect and any charges filed, have not yet been released.
