RICHLANDTOWN, Pa. – Authorities have charged a man with attempted homicide after a food delivery driver’s car was struck by gunfire in Bucks County over the weekend.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky, police are still trying to identify a possible motive. The suspect, Keilan Marshal McKeever, also faces charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and disorderly conduct, as detailed in court documents.
On Saturday, shortly before 10 p.m., troopers from the PSP Dublin responded to a reported disturbance on the 100 block of Cherry Street in Richlandtown Borough. Police say that a Quakertown man, who was working as a food delivery driver, was driving on Cherry Street when gunfire struck the back window of his car. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed.
Bail for McKeever has been set at 10% of $200,000, according to a news release from state police. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 3.
State police have indicated that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation is being handled by the PSP Dublin Criminal Investigation Unit.
