ALLENTOWN, Pa. — At least one person was seriously injured following a crash involving two scooters Monday afternoon in Allentown.
The crash occurred around 2 p.m. at South 25th and Hamilton streets.
According to initial reports, the two scooters collided, causing one of them to strike a tree.
Multiple EMS units responded to the scene. Officials said CPR was administered to at least one of the victims following the crash.
Earlier emergency reports indicated two patients were being treated, with one suffering life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed while emergency crews worked at the scene.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation, and additional information about the victims has not been released.
