Lehigh County, PA – A serious accident involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger car occurred just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Route 100 and Weilers Road.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has confirmed at least one fatality at the scene, though further details regarding the victim have not yet been released. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but despite their efforts, the outcome was devastating.

As a result of the collision, a portion of Route 100 is currently closed, and authorities are advising drivers to seek alternative routes. Motorists are urged to avoid the area until the situation is fully cleared and further updates are provided.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is ongoing. Further information will be released as it becomes available
