In Boulder, Colorado, multiple people were injured after a man set them on fire during a pro-Israeli demonstration described as “peaceful.” The local police chief reported that the suspect is in custody, and the FBI has labeled the incident as a “targeted terror attack,” although local authorities caution that it is too early to determine the motive.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn stated that when officers arrived, they found multiple victims with burn-related injuries. The attack involved the suspect throwing bottles containing flammable liquids that ignited upon impact. The number of bottles used remains unclear.

At least two individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment. Investigators are evaluating whether the suspect will face charges related to terrorism or other federal crimes, while also considering potential mental health issues that may affect the case.

FBI director Kash Patel confirmed on social media that agents and local law enforcement are on the scene and that they will share updates as more information becomes available.
