Emergency crews were dispatched to a barn fire in Albany Township, Berks County on Sunday afternoon. According to county dispatchers, the fire was reported at approximately 3:36 p.m. in the area of Route 737 and Turkey Road, and it quickly escalated to a second alarm. As of 4 p.m., fire companies from Kempton, Kutztown, Topton and Hamburg were on the scene. More companies are expected to arrive, as per dispatchers.
