UPPER MILFORD TWP., Pa. — A fatal crash has closed a portion of Chestnut Street in Upper Milford Township Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the area of the 4500 block of Chestnut Street for a serious crash involving a box truck. According to information from the scene, the driver of the box truck died as a result of the crash.
Initial emergency scanner reports indicated the incident involved a motorcycle. However, based on updated information from the scene, it does not appear a motorcycle was involved.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased driver.
Motorists should expect the roadway to remain closed for an extended period as emergency crews and investigators continue their work.
