BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Bucks County — A man is fighting for his life after a fire broke out inside an apartment early Friday morning.
The blaze was reported around 1:45 a.m. on the unit block of Thomas Place at the Orangewood Park apartment complex.
According to police, a 69-year-old man suffered severe burns after flames erupted inside a second-floor bedroom. He was rushed to Jefferson Frankford Torresdale Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Fire crews were able to contain the flames to the apartment. No other injuries were reported.
Investigators have not yet determined what caused the fire, and the incident remains under investigation.
