Firefighters responded to a reported dwelling fire in Milford Township after a chimney fire extended into the walls of the home.
Crews arrived to find fire conditions inside the wall voids and worked quickly to open up the structure and extinguish the fire, preventing further extension. No injuries have been reported at this time.
The cause of the fire is believed to be related to the chimney. Fire officials remain on scene to ensure all hot spots are extinguished and to assess damage.
