On December 25, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m., the Bethlehem Police Department responded to a residence located in the 1900 block of Gatewood Lane following a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male within the home who sustained stab wounds.

According to law enforcement, both the male victim and several witnesses present at the scene identified the suspect as a juvenile who had recently departed the area in a vehicle. This vehicle was promptly located by the police, and the juvenile was subsequently taken into custody. The male victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have stated that the investigation into this incident remains ongoing.

The Bethlehem Police Department has indicated that this incident does not appear to be a random act, as there is a known relationship between the victim and the suspect. Due to the involvement of a juvenile suspect, the Police Department stated that they are unable to provide further comments regarding the investigation at this time.
