Eagles reportedly agree to one-year deal with WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly adding speed to their offense, agreeing to a one-year contract with veteran wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown worth up to $6.5 million.

Brown, a former first-round pick, comes to Philadelphia after spending the 2025 season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He appeared in 16 games, finishing with 49 receptions for 587 yards and five touchdowns. He also recorded a 101.6 passer rating when targeted, showing efficiency when involved in the offense.

The move addresses a key need for the Eagles, who were looking to solidify their third wide receiver spot. With Jahan Dotson departing after an underwhelming stint, Philadelphia was in the market for a reliable and explosive option behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Brown brings proven speed and big-play ability at 5-foot-9, giving quarterback Jalen Hurts another vertical threat. His ability to stretch the field could open up opportunities across the offense and add another dynamic element to the passing game.

This also marks a full-circle moment of sorts. Brown was once a potential Eagles draft target in 2019 before the team went in a different direction. Now, years later, he lands in Philadelphia with a chance to carve out an important role.

If he can stay healthy, this signing could prove to be a low-risk, high-upside move for an Eagles team looking to remain one of the top offenses in the NFL heading into the 2026 season.
