

Emergency crews responded to a reported dwelling fire in Northampton County Wednesday in the Borough of Freemansburg.
The incident occurred at 30 Market Street, where units arrived on scene to find a 2.5-story single-family home with fire showing from the second floor. Initial reports indicated a possible entrapment.
Firefighters quickly initiated an interior attack and conducted a primary search of the residence. Authorities confirmed that no occupants were located inside the home, and the resident had safely exited prior to crews arriving.
The fire was brought under control, and crews remained on scene conducting overhaul operations and checking for hotspots to ensure no further extension.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
