Emergency crews responded after contractors struck a gas line on fairview Street between 4th and 5th Streets in Coopersburg, Lehigh County.
The fire department arrived on scene and remained in the area for a short period of time until UGI Utilities responded and secured the leak.
No homes were evacuated, and no injuries have been reported.
UGI crews were able to safely control the situation.
