Allentown Police are investigating after reports of shots fired overnight in the city.
According to radio traffic, the incident was initially reported by personnel at the Allentown Fire Department’s Central Station after shots were reportedly heard outside of the station shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Further investigation later led police to the area of 7th and Chew streets, where evidence confirming a shooting had occurred was located. Officials say no injuries were reported.
The investigation remains active at this time. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Allentown Police.
