LOWER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. — A mobile home was completely destroyed by fire Monday at 5270 Brighton Court in Lower Macungie Township, according to emergency dispatch reports.
Fire crews were called to the scene after reports of fire showing from the roof of the residence. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions and worked to bring the blaze under control.
During the incident, multiple cats were rescued from inside the home as crews conducted searches amid the fire conditions. The animals were safely removed from the residence.
No civilian injuries were reported. The mobile home sustained total loss as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fire officials have not yet released additional details.
