LYNN TWP., Pa. – A woman from Carbon County was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and two cars early Monday morning in Lynn Township, Lehigh County.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of Mountain Road and Route 309, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Officials say the victim, a 36-year-old woman from Lansford, was driving one of the passenger vehicles involved. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office at 1:03 a.m.
Her identity has not yet been publicly released pending the completion of an autopsy, although authorities confirmed her family has been notified.
No other injuries have been reported at this time. State police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
