According to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, both individuals had suffered from gunshot wounds. The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that Roy Theodore Knieriem’s death was a suicide, whereas Helen Knieriem’s death was ruled as a homicide.
The DA’s office has stated that there were no other individuals present at the time of the incident, and no witnesses have come forward to provide any information. Fortunately, the police are confident that there is no current threat to the community related to this incident.
