Pennsylvania State Police have reported that an Ambler woman has died following a sudden collision with oncoming traffic.
The incident occurred shortly after noon on Saturday, when 65-year-old Ilene Zeff was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Woodlyn Avenue and Valley Forge Road. According to police, Zeff’s vehicle abruptly entered the northbound lane of Valley Forge Road and was struck by an approaching pickup truck. The circumstances surrounding her decision to move into oncoming traffic remain under investigation.
