Northampton Co., Pa. – Thousands of Met-Ed customers in the Lehigh Valley are currently without power. Officials are investigating the Met-Ed substation on Northwood Ave in Palmer Township as the possible cause, although it’s not confirmed. Around 4 p.m., thousands of customers in Northampton County and Warren County reported power outages. The Met-Ed power outage map estimates that power will be restored by 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. According to the outage map, Lehigh Township and East Allen have a 100% power outage rate.
