ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A 33-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night in Allentown, authorities said.
According to the coroner, Miguel Steven Dalmasi, of Alburtis, was pronounced dead at the intersection of East Walnut and South Dauphin streets around 8:42 p.m. Saturday. Dalmasi’s death has been ruled a homicide, the coroner said
According to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, the shooting occurred around 7:48 p.m.
The DA’s office says early reports indicate that Dalmasi was with his family for the birthday party of his 1-year-old relative when a group that was not invited to the party tried to gain entry.
