
ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Fire crews in Allentown battled a large blaze late overnight after flames broke out along Gordon Street.
According to county dispatchers, the fire was reported just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Gordon Street and North 9th Street. Heavy smoke and flames were seen pouring from the second floor of the building as firefighters arrived on scene.
Multiple crews worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties. At this time, officials have not confirmed whether anyone was injured or what sparked the blaze.
The extent of the damage remains under investigation.
