PHILADELPHIA — Drivers should prepare for nightly lane closures on Interstate 95 between Academy Road and Cottman Avenue as PennDOT crews carry out major roadway and barrier repairs.
The closures will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through the end of November, weather permitting. Both directions may be affected as work shifts along the corridor.
Motorists can expect delays, lane shifts, and reduced speeds during overnight hours. PennDOT urges drivers to use caution, stay alert for workers and equipment, and plan alternate routes when possible.
These repairs are part of PennDOT’s ongoing effort to modernize and maintain the I-95 corridor in Northeast Philadelphia.
