PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Coaching staff changes continue for the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason, with several key departures and new hires reshaping the team’s leadership on both sides of the ball.
The Eagles have added former New England Patriots assistant Mike Pellegrino to their defensive coaching staff. Pellegrino brings valuable experience, particularly in developing defensive backs, having worked with some of the league’s top secondaries during his time in New England. His addition is expected to strengthen Philadelphia’s defensive coaching depth as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, the Eagles have lost offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, who has left the organization to join the Miami Dolphins as their new passing game coordinator. Patullo’s departure marks the fifth coaching exit for Philadelphia this offseason, highlighting significant turnover within the coaching ranks.
On the offensive side, the Eagles also hired Chris Kuper as their new offensive line coach. Kuper replaces longtime and highly respected coach Jeff Stoutland, who had been instrumental in building one of the NFL’s most dominant offensive lines during his tenure in Philadelphia.
Stoutland’s departure represents one of the most notable changes of the offseason, as his leadership helped anchor the Eagles’ offensive identity and contributed to the development of multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro linemen.
Despite the turnover, the Eagles organization continues working to retool its coaching staff with experienced personnel as the team looks to remain competitive in the NFC and make another postseason run.
More coaching moves and roster adjustments are expected as the offseason continues
