DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – A shelter-in-place order was issued in the area of Old Dublin Pike and N. Main Street in Doylestown on Sunday afternoon. Bucks County officials confirmed that the alert was sent out around 2:30 p.m. Central Bucks Regional Police reported that a man with a gun was threatening his family.
“As a precautionary measure, we implemented a shelter-in-place order, called in the SWAT team and negotiators. The situation was successfully resolved through negotiations, and he has since been taken into custody,” said Captain Lance Carlen of the Central Bucks Regional Police. As of 5:07 p.m., Bucks County officials announced that the incident was “wrapping up,” and the shelter-in-place order has been lifted.
Police confirmed that no one was injured during this incident.
