The county of Lehigh is taking measures to prevent the spread of the West Nile Virus by spraying for mosquitoes in an area just west of Musikfest in Bethlehem on Thursday night. Last week, officials checked storm water and water basins in the Musikfest area and treated them. They caution that mosquitoes can still find water, so they are advising people to eliminate any pooled water in their yards.
