EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Strong thunderstorms moved across eastern Pennsylvania Wednesday evening, leaving behind damage reports across parts of the Lehigh Valley, Bucks County, and Berks County.

The storms brought damaging wind gusts, heavy rainfall, vivid lightning, and isolated hail as they pushed through the region. Several communities reported downed trees, scattered power outages, debris on roadways, and localized flooding.

The National Weather Service issued multiple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings during the evening as the storms intensified.

In Lehigh County, a tree reportedly fell onto a home in Coopersburg. Viewer-submitted photos also showed storm-related damage and conditions in Pottstown.

First Source News is continuing to gather viewer photos and videos from across the region as cleanup efforts continue.

Residents are asked to send storm-related photos or videos, along with the location, a brief description, and a name for photo credit if they would like to be credited.

Photos and videos may include downed trees, flooding, hail, lightning, shelf clouds, wires down, road debris, or emergency response activity related to the storms.

Anyone cleaning up storm damage is reminded to stay away from downed wires, avoid flooded roadways, and use caution around damaged trees or unstable debris.
