ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Allentown police report that a fight that began inside a local bar led to a fatal shooting outside in a parking area early Sunday morning.
Authorities received a call about the incident at the BKK Lounge, located at 1500 Union Boulevard, at approximately 4 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found four victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics treated all four victims on the scene, and they were subsequently transported to a local hospital by Allentown EMS. Unfortunately, one of the victims died from their injuries upon arrival at the hospital.
According to a press release from the Allentown Police, the shooting occurred after a confrontation between two groups of individuals inside the lounge. The disturbance escalated outside in the parking lot, where security personnel from BKK Lounge attempted to separate the fighting groups. During this time, multiple gunshots were fired.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Homicide Task Force, and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
