LOCATION: City of Allentown – Klein’s Island
INCIDENT: Outside fire at one of the homeless camps
DETAILS:
Crews were dispatched to an outside fire deep in the Klein’s Island area of Allentown. Firefighters had to wait for a train to pass before gaining access to the site. Due to the remote location of the camp, crews stretched approximately 2,000 feet of hose line to reach and extinguish the burning area.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
