PHILADELPHIA, Pa.
A multi-victim shooting in West Philadelphia has left multiple people shot, including fatalities, Monday evening.
Police say the shooting happened around 8:40 to 9:00 p.m. in the area of 60th Street and Delancey Street, just steps from where initial dispatch reports placed the incident near 311 South 60th Street.
Authorities confirm five people were struck by gunfire.
Two victims have died from their injuries Three others were transported to area hospitals with injuries
The victims have all been identified as adult males. Their conditions beyond the fatalities have not yet been fully released.
When officers arrived, they located multiple victims and a large active scene. Investigators recovered numerous shell casings at the location as they began processing evidence.
At this time, no arrests have been announced, and police have not released a suspect description. Detectives are working to review surveillance footage and determine what led up to the shooting.
