FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. — A 19-year-old Fountain Hill man has been sentenced to state prison after pleading guilty to shooting three people during an argument outside a home in the borough last summer.
According to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, Anthony Estrella, of Fountain Hill, pleaded guilty Tuesday to three felony counts of Attempted Homicide in connection with the July 4, 2025 shooting.
As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors said the remaining charges against Estrella were withdrawn.
Lehigh County Judge Anna-Kristie M. Marks sentenced Estrella to 20 to 50 years in state prison.
Investigators said the shooting occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on July 4, 2025, at a residence in the 900 block of Delaware Avenue in Fountain Hill.
According to authorities, an argument broke out on the porch of the home. During the confrontation, two individuals attempted to get Estrella to leave the property. Prosecutors said Estrella then produced a handgun and opened fire, striking three people.
Officials said Estrella also accidentally shot himself during the incident. Following the shooting, his mother transported him to a local hospital, where he was later taken into custody by law enforcement.
The District Attorney’s Office said all three victims suffered serious injuries and required surgery.
The case was prosecuted by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
