


MILFORD TWP., Pa. — Emergency crews responded Wednesday afternoon to a serious motor vehicle crash in Milford Township that left one person trapped and temporarily closed a portion of Route 663.
The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Milford Square Pike and John Fries Highway (Route 663), near the Top Star gas station. According to initial emergency dispatch reports, one male occupant was found trapped inside a vehicle and was described as in and out of consciousness when responders arrived on scene.
Fire and EMS crews worked quickly to free the trapped individual while state police assisted with traffic control and investigation efforts. The patient’s current condition has not been released.
As of 4:01 p.m., crews were still working to clear the wreckage and reopen the highway, which had been shut down in both directions during rescue operations. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and expect residual delays.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
