DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Doylestown native and global pop superstar P!NK has been nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, marking a major milestone in her decades-long music career.

Alecia Moore, known professionally as P!NK, is among 17 artists nominated this year. The nomination recognizes her impact on the music industry and her lasting influence as one of the most successful pop and pop-rock artists of her generation.

Born and raised in Doylestown and a graduate of Central Bucks High School West, P!NK rose to fame in the early 2000s with her debut album Can’t Take Me Home. She quickly gained national attention and went on to release a series of successful albums featuring hit songs such as “Get the Party Started,” “Just Like a Pill,” “So What,” “Raise Your Glass,” and “What About Us.”

Over the course of her career, P!NK has earned multiple No. 1 singles, Grammy Awards, and worldwide recognition for her powerful vocals, emotional songwriting, and high-energy live performances. She has sold millions of albums globally and remains one of the top-selling artists of the 21st century.

Artists become eligible for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination 25 years after releasing their first commercial recording. Final inductees are selected by a voting panel consisting of artists, historians, and music industry professionals, based on factors including musical influence, cultural impact, and career longevity.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2026 inductees will be announced in April, with the induction ceremony scheduled for later this year in Cleveland, Ohio.

If selected, P!NK would join some of the most legendary performers in music history, marking a proud moment for Bucks County and her hometown of Doylestown.
