
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — At least one person was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out Thursday  evening at a residential structure in Bethlehem.
Crews were called to 2137 Princeton Avenue in Northampton County for a dwelling fire involving a three-story residential building. Initial reports indicated smoke showing from the structure, with fire showing from the second floor.
The incident was upgraded to a third alarm, bringing additional firefighters and equipment to the scene as crews worked to contain the fire and protect the building.
At least one person was transported to the hospital. The extent of that person’s injuries was not immediately available.
Firefighters remained on scene working the incident and checking for extension. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
