ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A serious motorcycle crash Saturday night remains under investigation after a rider was critically injured in Allentown.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of North 6th Street and Sumner Avenue for a reported motorcycle crash. Upon arrival, first responders found the rider suffering from serious injuries.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center. Authorities have not released the rider’s identity or an update on their condition.
The Allentown Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and spent several hours documenting evidence and investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The intersection remained partially closed while investigators processed the scene.
At this time, police have not released information on what led to the crash or whether any other vehicles were involved. The investigation remains active.
