

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Allentown Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old male injured Tuesday night.
According to police, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:31 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, to the area of the intersection of South Carlisle Street and East Union Street following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by Allentown EMS to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is being handled by the Allentown Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit.
