Tatum, the rescue dog behind the popular “Tatum Talks” social media accounts, has died, his owners announced online.
Tatum’s owners, Charles and Nicole Lever, said they plan to keep his social media accounts active to preserve his memory and share the joy he brought to millions of people. The account has about 3.7 million followers on TikTok.
Known for his expressive reactions and humorous voiceover videos, Tatum built a large following by “commenting” on everyday life with his family. The Levers adopted him in 2016 after he was rescued from Georgia. They later shared his adventures from their home in Maine.
Tatum’s videos reached viewers around the world, and the account became a source of laughter for many fans. The Levers’ decision to keep posting means those videos and memories will remain available to the community that followed him.
The family’s announcement prompted an outpouring of condolences from fans who had watched Tatum’s videos over the years.
