UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. – A man who police say fled on foot after a crash Thursday morning on a Route 309 ramp was found hours later hiding in a cornfield. A thermal imaging drone spotted him.
At about 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, Upper Saucon Township police were asked to help Pennsylvania State Police at a crash on the ramp from Route 309 North to Interstate 78 West. Police said the driver ran from the scene on foot, but officers already knew who he was.
Around 3:15 p.m., Upper Saucon officers were called to the area of West Saucon Valley Road and Lanark Road for a report of a man matching the suspect’s description.
