Last night, at around 9:45 pm, the fire department received a report of an apartment fire in the 2900 block of Knights Road. The firefighters arrived at the scene to find a two-story apartment building with smoke visible and possible entrapment reported. The fire department requested an extra response to the scene and later confirmed that there was no extension of the fire to adjacent units. The firefighting crews were in service for two hours. The Bensalem Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
