MIDDLETOWN TWP., Pa. – Middletown Township police were still investigating a gruesome crime Wednesday night.
Justin Mohn, 32, is accused of beheading and killing his father, then posting a video holding the head online.
Police converged on the house on Upper Orchard Drive in Middletown Township around 7 p.m. Tuesday, where police said Mohn killed his father Michael, but before they even saw the police lights, neighbors knew what was going on

Stupak’s daughter knew what had happened because Mohn had posted a video on YouTube immediately after the crime.

“He started the video, and he held up his father’s head, wrapped in a plastic bag, and that was so upsetting,” said Stupak.

At one point in the video, Mohn clearly identified himself.

“My name is Justin Mohn. I am the commander of America’s national network of militias,” Mohn said in the video.

In what appeared to be a 14-minute-long prepared speech, Mohn called for assassinating all federal employees.

Middletown Township Police Capt. Pete Feeney said it’s a shocking crime, especially in that area.

“To have one this serious, this gruesome, you know, is exceedingly rare in this area,” Feeney said. “It’s a safe, quiet area, generally.”

Feeney said investigators are still trying to figure out what would have driven Mohn to that point.

“I heard again that he apparently had some mental health issues, but we don’t know the extent of that at this point,” Feeney said.

After the crime, police said Mohn stole his father’s car and drove around 100 miles before he was finally caught.

Mohn is now facing three charges including murder and abuse of a corpse. He’s being held without bail at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 8.
