Police in Easton have released new information following a shooting incident that took place over the weekend. According to Easton Police Lieutenant Matt Gerould, on Sunday night, there was a dispute between two groups of teenagers at a park located a few blocks away from the 1000 block of Butler Street. Gunfire then damaged a vehicle in that area. The police further investigated and were able to trace the suspect vehicle to an address in Palmer Township. The vehicle was seized, and the investigation continues. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. The police had to close off a section of the street on Sunday night while they investigated the scene.
