Today, a procession was held to honor retired police lieutenant Bender. Several local police departments, along with the Quakertown Fire Department, participated in the event to pay their respects. After 37 years of dedicated service with the Quakertown Police Department, Lieutenant Bender signed off for the last time, marking the end of an esteemed career.
