A 23-year-old woman was hospitalized following an incident where she was hit by two cars in Salisbury Township, as reported by local police.
The accident occurred when the woman was crossing on the south side of the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue. Initially, she was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lane, which caused her to fall into the westbound lane. While in the westbound lane, she was hit by a second car that pushed her back into the eastbound lane. Authorities indicated that she was subsequently dragged for 83 feet by the second vehicle.
The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
