ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A man is in critical condition after being rescued from the water at Jordan Park on Wednesday, according to the Allentown Fire Department.
Just before 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Allentown Fire Department responded to a report of a possible drowning at Jordan Park, the press release says.
Officials say that 911 calls indicated that a man jumped into the water but did not surface. Bystanders attempted to rescue the man but were unsuccessful. Once the man was removed from the water, CPR was administered by the city of Allentown paramedics, the fire department says.
Officials say that the man is reported to be in critical condition at a local hospital.
