LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. – I-78 eastbound is closed at Route 412 due to a tractor-trailer crash and fire that occurred Tuesday morning. The incident was reported around 6:14 a.m.
The crash took place at mile marker 68.7, resulting in the closure of all eastbound lanes in the area. State Police Trooper Branosky indicates that the road is expected to remain closed for approximately 2 to 4 hours. Fortunately, the fire has been extinguished, and no injuries have been reported.
Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating the incident.
