UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. (Lehigh County) — Firefighters responded Wednesday evening to a garage fire that broke out at a two-story home on 5926 Royal Fern Road.
According to initial dispatch reports, crews arrived to find flames showing from the attached garage of the residence. Command on scene quickly confirmed a working fire, and firefighters stretched an inch-and-three-quarter hose line to the main garage door to begin suppression efforts.
Mutual aid companies were called in to assist with manpower and water supply as crews worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the home.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the blaze is currently under investigation by local fire officials.
