Three Teenagers Killed, One Critically Injured in Warrington Township Crash
WARRINGTON TWP., Pa. (Bucks County) — Authorities have confirmed that three teenagers were killed and another critically injured following a violent crash late Thursday night on Bristol Road in Warrington Township.
According to an update released Friday morning by the Warrington Township Police Department, all three victims who died were occupants of the same sedan. A fourth teen, also in the sedan, remains in extremely critical condition at a Philadelphia hospital.
The crash occurred when a sedan traveling eastbound on Bristol Road apparently lost control while approaching a downward crest along the narrow stretch of roadway, investigators said. The vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and collided at an angle with an oncoming SUV.
Police clarified that the incident was not a head-on collision as initially reported. The most severe impact was concentrated on the passenger side of the sedan.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Warrington Township officers and detectives worked through the night to identify those involved. As of Friday morning, one victim has not yet been positively identified, and notifications to the families of those involved are still underway.
Police said the crash remains under active investigation.
